This is an example of lazy summer blogging. The post is simply a copy of the comment I wrote on David Axe´s post Alive and Qiking in Chad on his Africa is Boring on From the frontline.
Here´s a little something on my experience with Qik and Shozu:
i´ve tested Qik a few times, trying to make it work with an external mic. I made it work (http://qik.com/video/101283), but i pushed the wrong buttons at the wrong time when it counted (http://qik.com/video/101293).
for better quality and ability to save what you shoot for later, i think setting up the N95 with Shozu (http://www.shozu.com) is a better idea.
With Shozu you can set up “workflows”.
- Film/photograph
- Send with Shozu immediately or save for later.
- Shouz is set up to send to a ftp-account and cc content to several e-mail addresses (send one time, many receivers).

Tor works
I’m currently in Damascus, Syria - also known as a part of “the axis of evil“. The people here are nice, the people running the country may not be.
The net is censored, but with a little hellp from Tor everything works just fine.
Check out Tor, and support the work for a free internet. Not everyone can access the information we take for granted in Norway and other western countries.
