Straight out of the decaying Motor City, Eminem country and home of the Detroit soul comes the video for The Drug, one of the tunes on Röyksopps new album, called Senior.

This music video was shot in detroit and involves three girls who are out of place and out of time. we spent a week climbing through various abandoned buildings—a church, school, factory, and crack house. we are extremely grateful to everyone who helped make this music video possible, thank you. please stay tuned for a 10-minute version which features different music from Royksopp’s album ’senior’, coming soon.” That Go.

The official release is still a few days ahead, but the band is "leaking" it in every direction of the compass…now also available on this blog.

Two long time favourits and one fantastic tune in two versions. First Robyn´s cover version of Björk´s Hyperballad during the Polar Price in Stockholm August 30th 2010, where she performed the song with Björk in the audience.

Diesen wundervollen Film widme ich meiner Stadt Berlin in der ich seit 19 Jahre lebe. Die Berliner Architektur ist zwar besonders schön, aber erst mit den Berlinern wird Berlin zu so einer einmaligen schönen Stadt wie sie eine ist. Man kann an jedem Eck etwas besonderes entdecken. Und am besten filmt man dies auch gleich. :D

Gefilmt mit meiner geliebten Sony HC9. Geschnitten und bearbeitet mit Sony Vegas Pro 9. Den Miniatur Effekt nennt man Tilt Shift, dessen Ursprung von einem bestimmten Objektiv stammt, mit dem man sonst eher Architektur fotografiert aber dieser Effekt ein Nebenprodukt ist. Digital lässt sich dieser Effekt nachstellen.

Die geniale Musik stammt von "Franz Liszt" mit "Hungarian Rhapsody No.2".

I dedicate this film to Berlin where I have been living for 19 years now. While the architecture of Berlin is stunningly beautiful, only its inhabitants make Berlin the unique city that it is. In every corner there is something new to discover. And the best thing to do is to film it.

Filmed with my beloved Sony HC9. Edited with Sony Vegas Pro 9.The miniature effect is called tilt-shift, which originates from a particular lens that was used to photograph architecture. The miniature effect is a by-product of that. It can also be achieved by digital postprocessing.

Music: "Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2" by Franz Liszt

This was supposed the big night of Jean Michel Jarre (the skinny french dude with the lasers and the tune Oxygen) on Festningen 2010. He played with his mates, jumped up and down, but he didn´t move me. His music is like muzak on speed and a bit cheesy...me thinks. But he has some nice synths. In the end it was fireworks. Pyro good…yes!.

But before the rather boring Mr. Jarre, the audience was introduced to Röyksopp…happy time for me. Unfortunatly they had some technical problemes, but they managed to pull off a good show...in the pouring rain.

Also, Robyn made a guest appearance. Made my day, since I´ve never been able to see her live before. More Röyksopp and Robyn, please.

Ps. I know Mr. Jarre is a legende and all. Respect…but in my mind the show yesterday wasn´t very exicting. Sorry.

The classic dancing scene from Jean-Luc Godard's crime comedy Bande á Part.

It so impressed Quentin Tarantino that he named his movie production company A Band Apart, after the film and referenced it in Pulp Fiction.

Goddard later said that he would much rather Tarantino had just given him a lot of money instead. Bande a Part was released in the US as Band of Outsiders.

The dancing scene is also used in a music video for/by Nouvelle Vague and the song Dance With Me (I don´t know if the video is official or a mashup).

Se hvor vennene dine befinner seg akkurat nå, skriver Google på produktsiden for Google Latitude, og det kan du. Latitude fungerer skremmende bra.

Jeg kan til enhver tid se hvor f.eks. Martin og Kristoffer befinner seg ved å gå inn på Google Maps på telefonen min. Når Martin er i nærheten får jeg en tekstmelding fra Google. Alt er selvfølgelig helt frivillig.

I snart to måneder har jeg hatt funksjonaliteten skrudd på og Google har etterhvert fått et veldig godt bilde av mine bevegelsesmønster. Under ser du hva som ligger i arkivet for 30. juli 2010 da jeg var i Berlin:

Jeg har full oversikt over hvor jeg befant med den dagen. Imponerende, morsomt og skremmende.

Skremmende fordi dette de samme lokasjonsdataene som politikere og politiet ønsker å lagre om oss gjennom datalagringsdirektivet (DLD). I tillegg vil telefonnummer og IMEI for avsender og mottaker av samtaler og SMS og varighet og tidspunkt for samtaler lagres.

Morsomt som leketøy når jeg har kontrollen (jeg er selvfølgelig sunt skeptisk til Google). Med DLD vil dataene bli lagret om meg enten jeg vil eller ikke. Det er ikke fullt så morsomt synes jeg.
